Hamilton Drifts To $13 After Battling In Practice
Melbourne, 27 March 2009 - The twists and turns leading up to the 2009 Australian Grand Prix continue with the Williams duo of Nico Rosberg (13.00) and Kazuki Nakajima (15.00) dominating early practice. However, after posting the two quickest times of the day - 1:26.687 and 1:26.736 respectively - they remain at long odds to win the event on IASbet.com's Outright Market. After a respectable session, pre-season sensations Brawn GP maintained their status as front runners to claim victory in Melbourne. Rubens Barrichello (6.50) was fourth fastest and Jenson Button (5.00) sixth. Kimi Raikkonen (6.00) was impressive in his Ferrari, posting the third fastest time of the day and shorting in the market to second favourite. Felipe Massa (7.00) was seventh overall. Despite teammate Heikki Kovalainen (41.00) posting the fifth fastest practice time, displaying significant improvement in performance by the McLaren team, Lewis Hamilton (13.00) continues to struggle - the reigning champion was more than 2.3 seconds off the pace and drifted even further back in the market.
